Timelines, warranties and responsibilities
These terms govern all work performed by 38Carmodz at 280 Martin Ave, Santa Clara, CA 95050, USA.
All quotes are provided in writing following an in-person or photo-based assessment of the vehicle. Work begins only after written approval of scope and price. Any change to scope discovered during disassembly is communicated before additional work proceeds, and any resulting cost or timeline change requires your approval.
Timelines are estimates based on the scope agreed at booking. Parts backorders, paint cure times, insurance authorisations and additional damage discovered during disassembly can extend a project. We prioritise correctness over speed and will always communicate revised delivery dates as early as possible.
Aftermarket components carry the warranty issued by their manufacturer. We assist with warranty claims for parts supplied by us. Customer-supplied parts are installed at the owner's risk and are not covered by any parts warranty from 38Carmodz, though our installation workmanship remains covered.
We stand behind our high-end automotive modifications with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, ensuring your custom build meets the absolute highest standards of quality, aesthetics, and performance.
We coordinate directly with insurance carriers on accident repairs for modified vehicles. The vehicle owner remains responsible for deductibles and for any betterment or upgrade work performed outside the approved claim.
Completed vehicles should be collected within seven days of notification. Extended storage beyond that period may incur a daily storage fee. Vehicles left uncollected for prolonged periods may be subject to lien procedures under California law.
A deposit is required to schedule a build and to order parts. The remaining balance is due on completion prior to vehicle release. Deposits on custom-ordered or non-returnable parts are non-refundable once those parts have been ordered.
Modification of a vehicle may affect factory warranties, insurance terms, emissions compliance and street legality in certain jurisdictions. It is the owner's responsibility to confirm compliance for their intended use. 38Carmodz is not liable for consequential loss arising from modifications requested by the owner.
